Part 1:
a) How does Labaree define the terms: Citizenship Training, Equal Treatment, Equal Access?
b) What is the justification for this purpose, according to the author?
Part 2:
What is your personal reaction to the reading? Can you find examples from your own experience that correspond with this goal? Do you see a connection (or contradiction) with one of the theoretical concepts we learned about in class (e.g. Settler Colonialism, Intersectionality)?
